The National Antique & Art Dealers Association of America, Inc.
The National Antique & Art Dealers Association of America (NAADAA) is a non-profit trade organization of the United States’ leading dealers. Members are mutually pledged to safeguard the interests of those who buy, sell or collect antiques and works of art, achieved through just, honorable and ethical trade practices. Many years of study and experience are necessary to acquire the specialized knowledge that has made NAADAA members recognized authorities in their various fields. Each member of the Association has earned a high reputation for integrity and fair dealing in all transactions, so that collectors can be confident that an antique work of art is honestly represented as to authenticity, provenance and condition. Membership is very selective, and by invitation only.
NAADAA is committed to education and research, and continues a strong relationship with the highly regarded Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts. NAADAA offered scholarship support at Bard’s founding over ten years ago, and has since then established the NAADAA Fellowship.
CINOA Membership
NAADAA is a member of La Confédération Internationale des Négociants en Oeuvres d’Art (see www.cinoa.org), an organization founded in 1935 comprising the leading art and antique dealer associations in twenty-one countries worldwide. Under the auspices of CINOA., NAADAA continues to provide grants for art historical research at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
