Classical Patinated Brass Single-Light Argand Lamp

This oil lamp used the Argand burner principle with an air-flow design was invented in the 1780’s by Ami Argand to achieve a brighter flame with less smoke. The lamp design is based on ancient Roman bronze lamps excavated around Rome in the 18th century.
